Pre Game Notes GAME OVER Aztex proceed to the Southern Conference Final tomorrow with a 2-1 victory. GO YOU AZTEX!!!! 74th minute Academics score, so the score is now 2-1. We also have found out that Beto is out, having collected his 2nd yellow of the match. 65th minute The Aztex score again (Carlos Vicens on an assist by AJ Godbolt). Aztex are applying the pressure now, at 2-0. 58th minute The Aztex score (AJ Godbolt), so the score is now 1-0 Aztex favor. The bar is going wild. Unfortunately, we calmed down when AJ was given a yellow card. Half time The score is still 0-0, but the crowd here at Mother Egan’s definitely believes that the advantage is to the Aztex. We’ve had a majority of the possessions and opportunities, with Miguel having a quiet game. However, the Academics have been doing a good job of making good of their advantages. 43rd minute We’re finding it hard to track the time as the possession has been mostly Aztex (away from the clock). Some great control on the right side. 35th minute A close miss corner that had many Aztex believing the advantage was ours. 26th minute Still 0-0, and a good game. Very even play so far with Bradenton getting one yello card. 12th minute From what I can tell, the starting line up for the Aztex.. · Beto · Miguel · Josh · Zach · Kieran · Jamie Watson · AJ · Ezzie · Wes · Marcel · Carlos Vicens 10th minute Although the camera angle is awful, the video is clear. Some good penetrations by Jamie and Marcel so far. 5th minute We have a video stream, and the game has started up again. The score is 0-0 with only about 5 minutes gone. 5:43 p.m. There is a lightening delay that has caused a 1.5 hour delay. Word from the field is that they are warming up and ready to restart. 12:38 p.m. Word has come down from the Aztex organization and the USL that the broadcasting of today’s and tomorrow’s matches will go on. Excitement is almost not expansive enough to related this fans emotions. Massive thanks to Kay Rawlins and Lee Cohen (USL PDL Director) for making sure there was happiness in the wilderness!! |
