On Sunday night, March 1st, Phil Rawlins and Gifton Noel-Williams were on KXAN’s “Sunday Sports Section” with Roger Wallace. It was Austin’s initial television introduction to Gifton, who handled it beautifully (like we knew he would)! As we’ve said before, Gifton is really going to be a fan favorite. In addition to the coverage of on the television, this mornings (March 6) Austin American-Statesman had an article on Gifton in it’s sports section. Although mislabeling this weekends match as being against New England, as compared to Houston, it was still a nice story.
